Northwick Park Hospital needed a new 32-bed short-stay ward, and the only space for it was on top of the existing A&E department. Working with main contractor MTX, Fullscope Electrical delivered the electrical services for the 1,450m² rooftop extension. It was built from 32 steel modules made offsite and lifted onto a steel deck in the middle of a busy, live hospital site. The scope included power and lighting for the ward and ancillary areas, the integrated plant facility, the pre-manufactured M&E skids and IPS panels, and the 20-metre suspended link corridor to the main hospital.
