This new 450m² community diagnostic centre houses MRI and CT scanners, so it needed a technically demanding electrical design. Fullscope Electrical delivered the installation for MTX, working around a Faraday cage that shields the MRI room from electromagnetic interference and radiation shielding for the CT area. The medical IT switchboards and uninterruptible power systems sit in a separate plant building but are linked to the hospital’s main building management controls. The building is also connected to the hospital’s medical gas supply.
